Skyndex - Electronic Body Fat Assessment

Since most of the body composition assessments I do are in a group setting
I need a method that's fast, error free, repeatable to assure the client,
accurate and easy-to-use. That is why after more than 8,000 hydrostatic
weighings, I've gone to the Skyndex, which I recommend and use exclusively.
In addition to assuring accurate pressure at each pinch site, the Skyndex
has a bulit-in computer and easy-to-read LCD digital readout that makes it
useful anytime, anywhere. All I have to do is pinch the appropriate sites.
The Skyndex adds them then calculates then immediatly displays the client's
percent body fat eliminating the need to use formulas or tables. I own 3
Skyndex calipers. Each has a single formula--Durnin, Jackson Pollock, or
Slaughter /Lohman--with age and gender related instructions on the outside
of the caliper. Its also possible to purchase calipers with more than one
formula. See Below. It comes with calibration standard, AC adapter,
instruction book, carrying case and a 2 year warranty.You may think that $355 is a lot to pay for a caliper when you can purchase a manual caliper for about $100, but the time I save with instant readouts combined with the repeatability of the calibrated pinch more than makes up for it.
